This is a brand new piece just off Turnpike Lane. People are asking if this was me… yes it was!
This is called mixed media, when you do a street picture but it actually ties into something physical. You might have seen my ringing tap, which was a rather cheeky pun on the phone hacking scandal.
What I’ve done here is take a child labourer and have them sewing the bunting for the Royal Jubilee. This is a “wry commentary” on the way everything is made overseas these days and also a reminder of the bad things we did in the days of the British Empire. It’s very ironic.
